Our Medical Clinic provides essential healthcare services while promoting health awareness and timely emergency support for vulnerable communities. Services include general consultation, skin care, ENT, normal delivery (NVD), maternal & child health care, disease management, and health education. Through these efforts, we support both immediate medical needs and the long-term well-being.

MHPSS Program

AWARD’s MHPSS program addresses the urgent psychological needs of the Rohingya refugee community, many of whom have experienced severe trauma and prolonged displacement. The program provides individual and group counseling sessions, home visits, and referrals to specialized mental health professionals, creating safe spaces for emotional expression, healing, and peer support. Through these services, AWARD works to restore dignity, resilience, and hope among affected individuals and families.

Dental Procedures

AWARD provides free and accessible dental services, particularly for Rohingya refugees, through two well-equipped Mobile Dental Clinics delivering comprehensive treatments for conditions such as dental caries, pulpitis, gingivitis, periodontitis, attrition, abrasion, and erosion. In addition, AWARD operates WAMY Dental Care in Dhaka, offering quality dental treatment at minimal and affordable cost. The program also includes oral health awareness and education initiatives to promote proper dental hygiene and prevent future oral health problems within the community.

Eye Care Center

Our Eye Care Center provides comprehensive eye care services to ensure clear vision for all. Services include: Professional consultations and vision screening, Provision of necessary medications, Cataract surgeries, Distribution of protective sunglasses, Regular follow-up care, Complimentary transportation for patients.

Wheelchair Distribution

AWARD provides wheelchairs to Rohingya refugees and underprivileged individuals with mobility challenges who cannot afford assistive devices. Prior to distribution, the Chief Medical Officer and clinic doctors conduct comprehensive medical assessments to evaluate mobility impairments and confirm the genuine need for a wheelchair. This initiative promotes independence, mobility, and an improved quality of life for beneficiaries.

Circumcision Program

AWARD provides free, safe, and professional circumcision services for underprivileged communities, including Rohingya refugees. The program combines essential medical equipment with trained healthcare professionals to maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, and quality care. Through these accessible services, AWARD safeguards children’s health while respecting cultural and religious values and supporting community well-being.

IVCHG Program

Promoting sustainable homestead gardening and vegetable cultivation to enhance food security, nutrition, and livelihoods for families.

Building Youth Capacity

Awareness development to the youth. Motivate to be a volunteer to protect human rights, women discrimination, gender violence, women’s empowerment etc.

Housing

Providing safe and sustainable shelter solutions to vulnerable families, ensuring dignity, security, and improved living conditions.

Secure safe drinking water

Ensuring access to clean and safe drinking water by installing tubewells and providing hygiene awareness to promote community health.

Micro Finance Program

Empowering low-income women and men through group formation, savings and credit support, skill development training, responsible loan use, and active participation in social and economic decision-making.
