In 1997, AWARD Bangladesh started its journey with a vision in Bangladesh, to work for the poor on a sustainable basis and reduce poverty. As the founder Executive Director of the organization, I feel extremely proud to reflect on all the stellar feats that AWARD have achieved over the past two decades in both urban and rural development. What began with a small promise to be a partner in development has now become a recognized Non-Government Organization in the development field.

AWARD’s amazing accomplishments over the years at such an unrelenting pace is largely attributable to the expertise of our leadership team. They have ensured that the organization is always on-track with its mission & vision to not only serve its customers but benefit the society as a whole. AWARD has set an example regarding professional leadership in this highly competitive market. I could say, from previous professional experiences, that here lies the dynamic role played by the leadership very frequently.

AWARD stands on its mission & vision of merging the corporate culture with its emerging trend of working as a structural social capital. Through this pleasant amalgamation, AWARD has achieved sustainability and ensued that it can continue to serve the underserved community.

I, as the Founder Executive Director, heartily wish that AWARD continue to lead the change towards social, political and economic freedom of the powerless community of the working area as well as our country.
